Specific -
Can the the detail in the information sufficient to pinpoint problems or opportunities? Is the objective sufficiently detailed to measure real-world problems and opportunities? Measurable - Can a quantitive or qualitative attribute be applied to create a metric? Attainable - Can the information be used to improve performance? if the objective doesn't change behaviour in staff to help them improve performance, there is little point in it! Reasonable - can the information be applied to the specific problem faced by the marketer? Time-Bound - Can objectives be set for different time periods as targets to review against? Smart Goal #1: WAKE UP EARLY IN THE MORNING DURING WEEKDAYS! S - I'm gonna wake up 7:00 am five days a week because I don't want to be late at school. M - A calendar on my phone - there is an alarm and when the alarm goes I press something and it will automatically check the thing. A - I think I can do it. It is important to me because every time the alarm goes off every morning it gives me a heart attack so maybe I can do it and then I will get used to it. I need to so like I won't set an alarm every night. R - It makes sense for me. T - I will have this done by January 31, 2019. Smart Goal #2: Be friends with my Music Academy classmates. S - I want to be better at talking to other people like small groups of friends I think because I am too shy to talk to the whole class. Maybe talk to like friends I know first and then maybe I will talk to their friends. It will help me speak English more. M - I will try every day to talk to someone new. A - I think I can do it because I have to so I won't be left out every time there's a group thing. R - I think this is reasonable so I will be confident to others and maybe I will learn to speak English more. T - I will have this done by January 31, 2019.
